Retired person's visa

 

A retired person’s visa may be issued to individuals who wish to retire in South Africa on a seasonal or continuous basis.

 

The current prescribed minimum amount is set at R37 000 per month. This can be proven through the right to a pension or an irrevocable annuity or retirement account, or a combination of assets/incomes.

A retired person’s visa may be issued for a period of four (4) years.
